Welcome to my Fairy Blog. My favourite cards to make are fairy cards, but also do lots of other designs. Have won a few web competitions recently and hope to win lots more. I will post photos of new cards that I have made on a regular basis for you all to see. So come back soon and have another browse.
The Potting Shed
I Won 1st prize in the Fathers Day Compettion at ClassyCrafts.co.uk. This was my first attempt at a stepper card, and I was really pleased with the results. The decoupage ended up being eight layers. Used pearlised card with Spellbinders Labels 16 and a Tag from Spellbinders Fancy Tags Two.

Hanging Card
My take on a Pretty Hanging Card. Used the two largest dies from the Grand Oval dies from Spellbinders to make the oval frame work. Spellbinders Rose Creation dies to make the roses. 5 Layers for the bottom roses and used the three smallest dies to make the roses on the sides. To hold the rose petals together and make the centre of the rose I used Making Memories mini brads in pastel pink. Spellbinders Shapeabilities Butterfly S3-038. For the Tag I used Joy Crafts Die Cutting Emboss Stencil Tags 21, and added gold With Love Peel Offs. For the bow I used Iridescent Lurex pull bow ribbon. Decoupage picture of Rose courtesy of Pinflair Mirror imaged so would have two facings. I cut out the layers and used pinflair glue between the layers. I used pearlescent card throughout the project.

Great work Manda, just shows what can be done with a little (or a lot!) of inspiration.
